This is an improved, fast-growing form of 'Winter Gem'. Its glossy evergreen foliage is attractive year-round, and it has excellent hardiness. This variety's more upright habit makes it great for hedging. Faster growth means it will fill in more quickly than other varieties. Use it for edging or a low hedge in formal gardens.

Plant Sprinter® Boxwood in well-drained soil with full to partial sun exposure. Space plants 2-3 feet apart for optimal growth. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune lightly in late winter or early spring to maintain desired shape and encourage dense growth. Protect from harsh winter winds and heavy snow by providing a windbreak or covering.
