Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in spring in average, well-drained soil, spacing 18–24 inches apart. Vintage Mango produces warm, mango-orange toned flowers that fade through shades of apricot as they age, creating a multi-toned effect on a single plant. It adapts to average garden conditions without special preparation. Water regularly for the first few weeks, then reduce as the plant establishes.

Care Tips

Deadhead spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering, or leave seed heads for birds in fall. Divide every three to four years in early spring to maintain vigor. No heavy fertilizing is needed. The warm, tropical color tones of Vintage Mango are outstanding in the late summer garden and excellent for cutting. Compact habit makes it ideal for smaller borders, containers, and mixed pollinator plantings.
