Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 2–3 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. Prune by removing one-third of the oldest canes at the base right after flowering. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Show Off® Sugar Baby® is the most compact forsythia in the Show Off® series- a truly dwarf selection that stays very small while still delivering a vivid, cheerful yellow spring flower display. Excellent for containers, tight spaces, and low-maintenance foundation plantings. Largely pest-free.
