Cayenne® Sterile Fountain Grass

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Cut back to within a few inches of the ground in early spring before new growth emerges. Cayenne® is a sterile, non-invasive fountain grass selection- it does not self-seed and is safe to use in areas where invasive fountain grass is a concern. The vivid reddish-burgundy foliage and feathery plumes provide excellent color from summer through winter. Note: verify cold hardiness on the plant tag for your zone.
