Love-A-Lot® Pink Hydrangea

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. This bigleaf hydrangea blooms on both old and new wood for reliable repeat flowering. Prune out dead wood in spring but avoid heavy pruning. Flower color is affected by soil pH- acidic soil produces blue tones; more alkaline soil produces pink. Fertilize in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Protect flower buds from late spring frost where possible. The large, mophead flower clusters are produced in flushes from late spring through fall.
