Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, acidic soil (pH 4.5–6.0) with generous organic matter. Space 3–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the growing season. Prune lightly immediately after flowering. Fertilize in spring with an acid azalea/rhododendron fertilizer. Monitor for lace bugs. Little Linda is a particularly compact, well-formed mountain laurel with deep pink to red flower buds that open to vivid pink flowers- one of the most ornamental and deeply colored selections. An outstanding, long-lived native evergreen for shaded and partly shaded acidic gardens. Largely otherwise pest-free.
