Delicate, nodding blue bells hang from thread-like stems all summer long. This hardy native is tougher than it looks, thriving in dry, rocky soils and re-seeding gently.

Plant Bluebell Bellflower in well-drained soil with partial to full sun exposure. Space plants about 12 inches apart. Water regularly to keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage continuous blooming. Divide clumps every 2-3 years in early spring or fall to maintain vigor. Protect from extreme heat and provide some shade in hotter climates.
