Graceful, drooping pale pink petals surround a spiky, coppery-orange cone on tall, slender stems. This native species develops a deep taproot for exceptional drought tolerance and produces seeds that attract goldfinches.

Echinacea pallida prefers full sun and well-drained, sandy soil. Water moderately and let the soil dry between waterings. Deadhead flowers to encourage blooming and maintain neatness. It is drought-tolerant and needs little fertilization. Divide every few years to ensure healthy growth.
