Plant White Gayfeather in well-drained soil with full sun exposure. Space plants 12-15 inches apart. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system, then reduce frequency. Fertilize lightly in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Divide clumps every 3-4 years in early spring to maintain vigor.
