Plant Golden Sunset® Indiangrass in full sun and well-drained soil. Space plants 24-36 inches apart. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Once established, it is drought-tolerant. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Cut back old foliage to the ground in late winter or early spring before new growth begins. Divide clumps every 3-4 years in early spring to maintain vigor.
