This robust native perennial produces large, tropical like flowers in shades of pink or white. It thrives in wet, boggy soils where other plants struggle, attracting hummingbirds and butterflies.

Plant Swamp Rose Mallow in full sun and moist, well-drained soil. Space plants 3-4 feet apart. Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Prune dead stems in late winter or early spring to encourage new growth. Protect from strong winds to prevent damage.
