Plant Parkland Pillar® Birch in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Space trees 10-15 feet apart. Water regularly, especially during dry spells, to keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer. Prune in late winter to remove dead or crossing branches and maintain shape. Protect young trees from strong winds and extreme cold.
