Clusters of star-shaped, pale blue flowers bloom in spring on upright stems. The feathery foliage turns a brilliant, glowing golden-yellow in autumn, providing outstanding seasonal color.

Plant Bluestar in well-drained soil with full sun to partial shade. Space plants 18-24 inches apart. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish a deep root system. Once established, water moderately. Fertilize in early spring with a balanced fertilizer. Prune back in late fall or early spring to maintain shape and encourage new growth. Divide clumps every 3-4 years in early spring to prevent overcrowding.
