Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the canes.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering. Prune in early spring to remove dead or weak canes. Fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and after each bloom flush. Avoid overhead watering. David Austin roses have good disease resistance. Harlow Carr produces deeply cupped, rich pink flowers with an exceptionally strong, pure rose fragrance- one of the most powerfully and pleasantly scented of all English roses.
