Earlybird® Purple White Columbine

Plant in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly during the first season and through spring bloom. Deadhead to extend bloom, allowing some pods to drop seed for self-sowing. Cut foliage back as it declines in summer. Divide every 3–4 years in early spring. Watch for leaf miners- they create winding trails in leaves but rarely cause serious harm. The rich purple-and-white bicolor flowers are striking and long-lasting in the spring border.
