Earlybird® Red White Columbine

Plant in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly during the first season and through spring bloom. Deadhead spent flowers to extend bloom, and allow some pods to mature for self-sowing. Cut foliage back after it declines in summer. Divide every 3–4 years in early spring. Watch for leaf miners. The vivid red-and-white bicolor blooms are particularly striking and intense, making a bold statement in the spring border. Largely deer resistant.
