Plant in spring or fall in average, well-drained to moist soil, spacing 12–18 inches apart. Mai Tai avens produces warm, tropical-toned flowers in shades of peachy-orange and yellow from late spring through summer. It adapts to average conditions without special preparation. Water regularly for the first few weeks, then reduce as the plant becomes established.

Care Tips

Water regularly, especially during dry spells. Deadhead consistently to prolong bloom. Cut back by one-third after the first main flush to encourage a second round of flowers. Divide every 2–3 years in spring or fall to maintain vigor.
