Glenda's Gloss Lenten Rose

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water consistently throughout the season in partial to full shade. Cut back previous year's foliage in late winter. Divide every 4–5 years in late summer. Fertilize lightly in spring. Glenda's Gloss has particularly glossy, highly reflective foliage- the sheen is exceptional and the leaves catch and reflect light in shaded settings in an unusually luminous way. The flowers in late winter to spring are a welcome bonus to the outstanding foliage display. Largely deer resistant and pest-free.
