Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch around the base.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Divide every 3–4 years in spring, discarding woody crown sections and replanting healthy outer portions. Remove old foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Largely pest-resistant. The frosted, silvery-violet foliage has a distinctive metallic quality that catches the eye and provides excellent long-season contrast in mixed borders and containers.
