Plant in moist, well-drained soil amended with compost. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch around the base.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season- steady moisture keeps the rich red foliage vibrant and full. Divide every 3–4 years in spring, discarding woody crown sections. Remove old foliage in early spring before new growth emerges. Largely pest-resistant. The deep ruby-red foliage holds its color reliably through the season and makes a dramatic contrast against silver, chartreuse, or white companions in borders and containers.
