Guacamole Hosta

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 24–36 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water consistently throughout the season. Slugs and snails are the primary pests. The large, apple-green to chartreuse leaves with darker margins are most vivid with some sun- this is one of the more sun-tolerant hostas. Cut back all foliage in late fall. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring. The fragrant white flowers in late summer are a bonus. An award-winning, fast-growing hosta with excellent performance across a range of conditions.
