Shadowland® Hope Springs Eternal Hosta

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 24–36 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water consistently throughout the season. Monitor for slugs and snails. Cut back all foliage in late fall after frost. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring. Hope Springs Eternal has large, bright, creamy-yellow to gold leaves with blue-green margins- a particularly luminous center variegation that glows in shaded settings. The color contrast between the warm yellow center and cool blue-green margins is elegant and well-balanced throughout the season.
