Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Monitor for slugs and snails. Cut back all foliage in late fall after frost. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring. Autumn Frost is one of the most popular Shadowland hostas- the blue-green leaves with wide, creamy-gold to white margins are beautifully elegant, and the color intensifies and brightens as summer progresses into fall.
