Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Monitor for slugs and snails. The cool, powder-blue foliage holds its color best in shadier conditions- too much sun causes the blue to fade to green. Cut back all foliage in late fall. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring. One of the most beautiful and most consistently blue-leaved hostas available. An award-winning classic that pairs beautifully with yellow-green foliage companions.
