Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 24–30 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water consistently throughout the season. Monitor for slugs and snails, especially in wet conditions. The elegant, streaked variegation- pink, cream, and green- is most vivid in morning sun with afternoon shade. Cut back all foliage in late fall after frost. Divide every 4–5 years in spring if desired. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced fertilizer.
