Water consistently throughout the season- moor grass performs best with reliable moisture and may go dormant in extended dry conditions. Cut back to a few inches in early spring before new growth emerges. Divide every 3–4 years in spring when the center begins to die out. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free. The broad, arching foliage and attractive, airy seed heads give this grass a lush, tropical presence in the garden. An excellent, under-used ornamental grass for moist, partly shaded settings.
