Little Red Head Indian Pink

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 12–15 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture.

Water consistently throughout the season- Indian pink prefers reliably moist conditions in partial shade. The vivid, tubular red flowers with yellow mouths are produced in late spring and early summer and are irresistible to hummingbirds. Cut back after flowering to tidy the plant. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. A compact, well-behaved native perennial with excellent ornamental value and outstanding wildlife appeal. Little Red Head is a particularly compact selection ideal for small borders and containers.
