Rosy purple flowers with burgundy calyxes. Calyxes hold their color after the plant stops blooming, extending interest into fall. New foliage emerges with a burgundy cast in spring.

Plant in full sun with well-drained soil. Space plants 18-24 inches apart. Water regularly, allowing soil to dry between waterings. Fertilize with a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in spring. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms. Divide clumps every 3-4 years in early spring.
