Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Prune lightly immediately after flowering- quince blooms on old wood. Remove thorny suckers from the base. Fertilize lightly in spring. Double Take® Peach produces large, fully double, soft peach-apricot flowers in early spring- a particularly romantic color for quince. No fruit is produced. The fully double flowers last much longer on the plant than single-flowered forms. Largely pest-free.
