Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 18–24 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly, especially during the bloom period. Deadhead spent flowers. Divide every 3–4 years. Fertilize in spring. Largely pest-free. Storm Shelter produces very large, lavender-purple flowers with deeply ruffled petal edges and a contrasting bright throat- an unusually cool-toned color in the daylily world. The large flower size and exceptional rebloom habit make this an outstanding long-season performer.
