Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 2–3 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently. Blooms on both old and new wood. Prune out dead wood in spring but avoid heavy pruning. Flower color depends on soil pH- acidic soil produces blue; alkaline soil produces pink. Fertilize in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Wee Bit Grumpy® is a compact, dwarf bigleaf hydrangea with slightly deeper, moodier bloom color than Wee Bit Giddy® on an equally dwarf and well-behaved plant. Ideal for containers and small garden spaces. Largely pest-free.
