Reminiscent Coral carries the deeply cupped, petal-packed flowers of an old garden rose on a plant with modern disease resistance. This Proven Winners® selection, Rosa 'BOZFRA221', grows 2 to 4 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide in full sun, hardy from Zone 4 through Zone 9.
The blooms are copper-coral, large and bowl-shaped, and fragrant. Flowering starts in early summer and repeats through the season rather than giving one flush.
The petal count is high enough that the flowers hold their shape for days on the plant and cut well for arrangements.
Hardiness to Zone 4 is unusual for a rose with this flower form, since most of the antique roses it resembles will not survive that far north. Full sun and well-drained soil give the heaviest bloom. Give it room for air movement. Shipped on its own roots.
