Planting Tips

Plant in well-drained, fertile soil. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball. Provide a trellis, obelisk, or fence. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the canes.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly throughout the season. Train new canes onto the support structure as they develop. Deadhead spent blooms for continuous flowering. Prune in early spring to remove dead or damaged canes. Fertilize with a rose fertilizer in spring and midsummer. Good disease resistance. Rise Up roses are compact, manageable climbers ideal for smaller spaces and containers. Amberness produces warm, amber-apricot flowers with a pleasant fragrance in continuous flushes throughout the season.
