Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly alkaline to neutral soil. Space 5–8 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly the first two seasons; moderately drought tolerant once established. Prune immediately after flowering- lilacs bloom on old wood. Remove spent flower clusters promptly. Remove any suckers from the base. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Scentara Pura® is known for its exceptional fragrance- among the most intensely scented of all lilac varieties. The pure white flower clusters are large and beautifully complemented by the powerful, sweet lilac perfume. Largely pest-free.
