Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 2–3 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Prune by removing one-third of the oldest canes at the base immediately after the main spring flowering flush. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Largely pest-free. Snippet® is a very compact, dwarf weigela ideal for containers, small gardens, and tight spaces. Despite its tiny size, it still delivers the classic weigela display of tubular dark pink flowers that are highly attractive to hummingbirds in a form that fits almost anywhere.
