Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Prune by removing one-third of the oldest canes at the base immediately after the main spring flowering flush. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Sonic Bloom® weigelas are bred for exceptional rebloom- they flower abundantly in spring and then rebloom throughout the summer and into fall, far more reliably than standard weigelas. Pearl produces elegant, soft pearlescent pink-white flowers. Hummingbirds are highly attracted to the tubular blooms. Largely pest-free.
