White Diamonds Fringed Bleeding Heart

Plant in moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. Space 15–18 inches apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch to retain moisture.

Water consistently throughout the season. Unlike common bleeding heart, fringed bleeding heart (Dicentra eximia type) does NOT go dormant in summer- it blooms from spring through fall in cool, moist conditions. Cut back tired foliage midseason if needed; it will reflush. Divide every 3–4 years in spring. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free and deer resistant. White Diamonds produces clean, pure white, finely fringed flowers over an exceptionally long season. The finely cut, fernlike foliage is attractive all season.
