Double Take® Scarlet Quince

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 4–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Prune lightly immediately after flowering- quince blooms on old wood and pruning at other times removes next year's flower buds. Remove any thorny suckers from the base. Fertilize lightly in spring. Double Take® Scarlet produces large, fully double, deep scarlet flowers in early spring- particularly vivid and long-lasting compared to single-flowered quince. No fruit is produced, which keeps the plant tidy. Largely pest-free. Early spring blooms are outstanding.
