Haywire® False Cypress

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 3–5 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. The naturally irregular, sculptural, artistic form of Haywire® requires no pruning to maintain- in fact, it is best left unpruned to preserve its wild, distinctive character. Fertilize lightly in spring. Monitor for spider mites in hot, dry conditions. The vivid, golden-chartreuse, thread-like foliage on twisted, contorted stems creates an extraordinarily unique and eye-catching specimen. Largely otherwise pest-free.
