Gold Thread Cypress

Plant in moist, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep. Space according to the mature size noted on the plant tag.

Water deeply and regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought but looks best with consistent moisture. The threadlike, golden-yellow foliage drapes gracefully and requires no pruning to maintain its natural weeping form. If light tidying is desired, remove any dead interior branches in early spring. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Largely pest- and disease-free. A beautiful, slow-growing specimen plant.
