Planting Tips

Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it tolerates moderate drought. Prune lightly immediately after flowering- deutzia blooms on old wood and pruning at any other time removes next year's flower buds. Fertilize lightly in early spring. Largely pest-free. The golden-chartreuse foliage is an outstanding ornamental feature all season long, and the small, pure white flowers in late spring are produced in abundance, creating a beautiful contrast against the bright yellow-green leaves.
