Care Tips

Water regularly after planting; once established it is quite drought tolerant. Prune after flowering if shaping is needed- remove a few of the oldest stems at the base each year to encourage vigorous new growth and maintain a tidy form. Fertilize lightly in spring. This native bush honeysuckle is sterile and non-invasive, unlike old-fashioned shrub honeysuckles. Excellent for pollinators and hummingbirds. Largely pest-free and very easy to grow.
