Plant in average, well-drained soil. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch lightly.

Care Tips

Water consistently after planting; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. Prune in early spring- blooms on new wood. A sterile variety that does not set seed. Fertilize lightly in spring. Largely pest-free. The violet-purple flowers with deeper veining are produced continuously on a compact, tidy plant from midsummer through fall. A reliable, self-cleaning, non-invasive Rose of Sharon with excellent garden performance.
