Planting and Care Guide

Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 5–7 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Blooms on new wood- cut back by about one-third in late winter or early spring. Fertilize in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Quick Fire Fab® is an improved version of Quick Fire with larger flower panicles, stronger stems, and deeper pink color development as summer progresses. Still one of the earliest-blooming panicle hydrangeas, opening 6–8 weeks before standard varieties. Flowers age from white through deep pink. Largely pest-free.
