Puffer Fish® Panicle Hydrangea

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 4–6 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Water deeply and consistently throughout the season. Panicle hydrangeas bloom on new wood — cut back by about one-third in late winter or early spring. Fertilize in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Puffer Fish® produces unusually full, densely packed, round flower panicles that puff outward in an unusually spherical, globe-like form — quite different from the typical elongated panicle shape. The round, puffed flower heads are extraordinarily full and long-lasting. The white flowers age to soft pink tones in fall. Largely pest-free.
