Blue Rug Juniper

Plant in average to lean, well-drained to dry soil. Space 6–8 feet apart to allow the plant to spread naturally. Water thoroughly after planting.

Water regularly after planting; once established it is one of the most drought-tolerant groundcovers available. Little to no pruning is needed- simply remove any dead wood in early spring. No fertilization needed. The flat, steel-blue foliage hugs the ground tightly and turns a subtle plum tone in winter. Excellent for slopes, banks, and large open areas where a tough, spreading groundcover is needed. Largely pest- and disease-free.
