Coast Leucothoe features arching branches with glossy, evergreen leaves that turn purplish in winter. This ornamental shrub is perfect for shaded gardens or as part of foundation plantings, where its year-round color and texture can enhance the landscape

Plant Coast Leucothoe in well-drained, acidic soil with partial to full shade. Space plants 3-5 feet apart. Water regularly to keep the soil consistently moist, especially during dry spells. Fertilize in early spring with an acid-loving plant fertilizer. Prune after flowering to maintain shape and remove dead or damaged branches. Protect from harsh winds and extreme temperatures.
