Purple Passion Rhododendron

Plant in spring in acidic, moist, well-drained soil with afternoon shade protection. Purple Passion produces rich, deep purple-violet flowers in mid-spring. Amend soil with peat or acidic compost if needed. Set the root ball at or just above grade, mulch 3–4 inches deep, and water well. Keep consistently moist through the first growing season.
