Planting Tips

Plant in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil. Space 3–4 feet apart. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep.

Care Tips

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons; once established it is moderately drought tolerant. Soft Serve® Gold has the same naturally neat, slightly irregular, conical form as Soft Serve® but with vivid, golden-yellow foliage- a warm, sunny color that brightens the landscape year-round. The soft, feathery texture is the same uniquely fluffy, ice-cream quality. Requires essentially no pruning. Fertilize lightly in spring. Monitor for spider mites in hot, dry conditions. Largely otherwise pest-free.
