Emerald Squeeze® Arborvitae

Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Space 2–3 feet apart for an extremely narrow hedge or screen. Water thoroughly after planting and mulch 2–3 inches deep, keeping mulch away from the trunk.

Water deeply and regularly the first 2–3 seasons while establishing. Once established it is moderately drought tolerant. The extremely narrow, columnar form requires little to no pruning to maintain. A light trim in late spring tidies any irregular growth. Fertilize lightly in spring with a balanced slow-release fertilizer. Monitor for bagworms and spider mites. One of the narrowest arborvitae available- an exceptional choice where a privacy screen is needed in a very tight space.
